When they came this morning, the serviceman walked through the house and told me the bill would be $401.25. It was never mentioned during the phone call that the original amount was for the carpet only.
Unfortunately, I had to pay this ridiculous price because I had moved the day before and needed the floors cleaned before turning the house over to the realtor. What a rip-off!!!!! 1292984

They constantly misquote cleanings and other products. It's not the fault of the technicians, but the managers who don't train their advisers correctly. |

Written by susan on October 23, 2009 from columbus, ohio, US are you really serious that you would think that a company is going to clean you tile and grout and 3 areas of carpet for $144.00, your funny!!! get real. and i agree with the other comments, they do record their phone calls. maybe you should have called back in to the company and told them you wanted to hear the conversation that you had with the csa. |

Written by bre on October 17, 2009 from dublin, ohio, US Stanley steemer will quote you on the carpet because they go by area, as for the tile they have to measure the square foot so when the crew comes out they will quote you and then you can decide if you want it cleaned..also they record all the conversations so ask them if you can listen to it with them |

| 5. Written by Kikko on October 23, 2008 from templeton, california, US Um...Lets see, The commercials for Stanley Steemer quote "3 areas for $144" right? If you have more than 3 areas and tile floors on top of that, than you should have assumed it would be more. I agree that if you told the guy over the phone all the places you needed cleaned, than whatever he quoted should have been honored. Perhaps next time, you can record your phone call as proof of a quote. |
