Stanley Steemer quoted me one price, came out and stated a different price, then wanted to charge me even more, $100 more than orginal quote. Even after the technician admitted that he did nothing additional to support the extra charges. The complaints to the manager were pointless,all he offered to me was his apology for the misunderstanding? He even conceded that the technician should have used a particular chemical on the rug, for what purpose I am not sure, since my rug was fine with the standard cleaning process, but he still refused to refund me the difference in the "special" treatment for the rug, which I didn't recieve, nor evidentally need, and the orginal quote, which was high to begin with. Never use them again, unprofessional and misleading practices. 1292149

They were in and out of my house in Minnesota within 25 minutes and the carpet doesnt look any different. They rushed in, tried to sell me a protector and deodorizer, and when I declined the cleaner got gruff and mean. By the time he was done berating me his associate was done cleaning and they left. I tried calling their office several times but they said their warranty doesn't cover the traffic areas or stains in my house. What a joke. Next time I will pay more for a real company that knows something about customer service! |

Their creepy carpet cleaners were in and out of my house in 40 minutes after "cleaning" 6 rooms. They sent a cleaning team back out and they tried to charge me more to do the same job over. They guarantee their cleaning service but all they guarantee is that they will give you a hard time. Bait and switch. Better business bureau here I come! |

I have used many Minneapolis carpet cleaners and this was the worst experience I have had. The carpet was soaked and my wallet is empty. Steemer had a cleaner come out and he told me the price was double what I was quoted. When I pushed back he told me that the way he and other carpet cleaners are paid is all based on sales. I understand that Stanley steemer is in the sales business but they were super pushy and blatant about it. No consultation and no value added, just "pay more because we say so!". When push came to shove the cleaner told me he was planning to quit because the cleaning company is not locally owned and no one cares. I WILL NOT CALL STANLEY STEEMER AGAIN. horrible service, the carpet looked ok, but I guess you get what pay for. Should have called zerorez but I thought I'd save $. Big mistake. |
