Original review:Stanley Steemer came into my home on the third day of the flood said they could save my carpet, charged me 2,562.12 to extract water from the carpet and
padding, placed drying equipment and explained in three days my carpet and padding would be dry. Their equipment stopped working piece by piece over the next three days and by the end my carpet was still wet". Stanley refused to make things right, when around the room with their test equipment said the carpet was dry and removed the equipment/. The next day my insurance company Travelers came to assess to our basement checked the carpet and padding reported the carpet and padding very wet,on their report the carpet and padding was considered salvageable and needed removed?. I am now out $2,652;.12 and my carpet and padding,. I also had to have two feet of the
drywall cut out all the way around the basement due to the wet carpet!.
Save your money Stanley Steemer is a rip off, the owner would not come out the check the job, he refused/. I was also charge for
carpet cleaning after the job was done, I advise the carpet had to be removed, I could not even get credit for that charge, I was told it was my choice to remove the carpet as if I had a choice/. This company has no shame 12920d7
